Prolonged infection may trigger
hormonal imbalance, which could lead to infertility in a woman. When this happens,
the woman will start having irregularities in the glandular secretion which
carries blood stream to the organs which it regulates. Other clinical
manifestations includes: Painful menstruation, seizure of menstrual cycle,
heavy flow during menstruation, irregular menstrual cycle, low abdominal pain,
movement in the lower abdominal region, spotting: Blood stains on undies when
you're not menstruating, vaginal discharge: There are two types of vaginal
discharge, starchy odourless discharge and milky odorous discharge. The former
is normal but the latter is due to prolonged infection.
